Get up, Dress up, Show up!

Everyday has new surprises, either good or bad. It comes with many happy moments and not so pleasant ones too. Waiting for the ‘best time to live’ is like asking for winter chill during peak summers. No matter what, we must get up, dress up and show up.

Saturday at work is usually an unusual day, in the sense that the kids are not there and you are just with your colleages, conversing, participating in workshop and stuff like that. It’s a casual dress day for many. I wanted a change and I dressed up formally. I wore a new shirt, a nice pair of not-so-old trousers and a formal brown broke shoes. I felt nice to go to work, felt confident and enjoyed the day. It was great to participate in the workshop too. 

When you dress up you feel confident and that’s cool. It also means you care about yourself. The way you work also changes. You feel like talking to people, engage in good conversation and so on. If you are feeling bored and down the best way to beat that is to get up, dress up and show up. Catch up with friends, colleages, relax and have a great time.
