Underplayed under 17 FIFA world cup

Under 17 FIFA world cup is starting on 5 October in New Delhi and nobody has a clue. This is the state of football in the country where people worship cricket. 

I was passing near JLN stadium where the FIFA matches will be played and I saw taht the whole place looks so dry. It’s a world cup damn it! And it’s happening for the first time in India. So what if it’s under 17, it is a big tournament. There is just one banner at the top of gate.  No banners of players on display boards at bus stops. No promotional campaigns in the city. The TV n Newspaper aren’t saying much. The PM has made a radio announcement and that’s a nice thing. It’s a very sad state of affair as far as football is concerned.

I really hope that the sports ministry someday will have some people with passion for the development of sports, not just football but all sports.
