For Jennie promises are for keeps

Ever since Jennie was little she always remembered promises made to her. She would ask for a certain thing like a coloring book, and if I said yes, she would never forget. She has asked for a Pink Floyd tshirt for her birthday this year and I still haven’t said yes.

I remember when she was 10 years and I told her about the FIFA world cup. Brazil was hosting the 2014 World Cup and since it’s her favourite team I told her that we would go to Brazil to watch a world match. She kept asking me as the tournament approached. Of course I didn’t have the money to travel to Brazil. My brother promised to her that he would take her to Disneyland, Hong Kong, when she was eight or nine. She still remembers and reminds him.

Saying yes to her is making a huge commitment. Of course buying a t-shirt is not that big a promise but certainly she would follow up. You really have to think before saying ‘yes’ to Jennie.
